Can’t any photographer take brand photos?

It’s so easy to assume that any photographer can take your branding photos, but you assume wrong!

While a good portrait photographer can capture well lit, well posed images, they wouldn’t necessarily have the knowledge to be able to capture the essence of your brand or to know what images you need to go with your marketing message.

Yes the photos will look amazing, but you’ll usually end up with a load of images that either don’t really fit with your brand, or that you simply wouldn’t use in your business.

A portrait photographer is use to taking images that will go on a wall, not to be used in marketing your business.

How I work with my clients

Way before the shoot, there is a lot of prep work to do.

All my clients are sent a workbook where they can get down everything about their ideal client and their business.

This lets me get inside your head and for me to get to know you and your business.

All clients create a Pinterest board with images that they have seen and like the look or feel of.

As photography is subjective, this allows me to see exactly what you have in your head, in terms of the photos you want.

What I might think would make a great photo for you, you might have something completely different in mind. So this allows us to be on the same page visually.

Around a week before the shoot we have another meeting to go through timings and locations for the day. We can go through your wardrobe selections, different props that you could use, ideas that we both have and any last minute questions you may have.

Take a look at this video which will explain all about how I work with my clients.
